August 26, 2017 The day hurricane Harvey went aground near Houston, Texas, and a reminder that Texas guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughn‘s first two records, Texas Flood (1983) and Couldn’t Stand The Weather (1984), took the music industry by storm.
Unfortunately Vaughan’s life was cut short, when after a show at the Alpine Valley Resort in East Troy, Wisconsin, the helicopter in which he was riding crashed into the side of a mountain.
Vaughan was 35 years old when he died, August 27, 1990.
