K’s Beach
Special K documents her beach feeling the first effect of Covid-19’s. After it was determined that Spring Break (two miles down A1A on The Strip) had become a super-spreading activity, and Donald Trump, not wanting the recorded number of infections to rise, banned cruise ships from returning to their home ports. This Royal Caribbean ship was the first victim of this blatantly political order, and was forced to remain moored offshore, not allowed to enter Port Everglades, for more than a week.

Soon after, the beach (sand, beyond the wall) was closed, and essential businesses were shut down. “Fortunately” for the Castle Group, and unfortunately for residents, its Ocean Club renovation project was deemed “essential” by Trump sycophant, Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, and construction went on without hesitation.
