For the seven-year Living Colour hiatus, Will worked most closely with his newest bandmate, Doug Wimbish.
He and Doug (Living Colour’s Rhythm Section) called themselves Head>>Fake, playing as a bass/drum sound system, and with a number of guest vocalists and instrumentalists.
