The Interior
From the caverns near the Alabama state line down the center, following any number of spring-fed rivers, through pine forests, hammocks, and jungles, down to Lake Okeechobee, before entering the almost uninhabitable Everglades and emerging on Florida Bay, where the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean meet in the straights between Florida and Cuba.
