Michelangelo
The Creation of Man is a fresco created by Italian artist Michelangelo, is painted as a centerpiece of Sistine Chapel’s ceiling (c. 1508–1512). The series of frescos illustrate the Biblical narrative of the “Creation”of Man as told in the Book of Genesis. which God gives life to Adam, the first Man. The fresco is part of a complex iconographic scheme, chronologically, the fourth in the series of panels, each an episode from the book of Genesis.
