The World is a Ghetto“ (video) was a tune Allan Harris and Doug Wimbish included in a set played on Ed Bell’s (WLRN) Friday @ “Live” broadcast at Noon. This was the first time the band had played together, having exchanged files with one another from whatever city, state, or country any of them were at any time. They had gathered in Miami to play The Miami Design Preservation League’s Annual ART DECO WEEKEND.

The Day The Earth Stood Still
“Release the Pressure”
Living Colour at Disney’s House of Blues, Orlando, Florida. The band was playing shows in December, making up for dates in its 2001 Reunion Tour that had been cancelled after September 11. Opening is the footage shot by a French television crew that was in New York doing a story on the city’s water system. Also, the original trailer for “Spiderman, the movie scheduled for release in 2002 (Summer), and that included a scene featuring the Twin Towers. That Summer, theaters were showing the trailer, but the studio pulled it after 9-11. The decision is obvious when watching. And Living Colour’s performance, especially Doug Wimbish’s bass solo, is worth seeing too.
