Because no patriotic American would call The United States “pathetic and weak,” there was little fear that Donald Trump’s horrifying speech to the Republican National Convention would have been plagiarized. But as I listened to Donald’s blathering swill, it came to me where I had heard his fear-mongering, apocalyptic view before. Twenty five years ago, my friend Bill Hicks described a similarly scary America, as it was being depicted on cable news … The difference was that Bill was telling a joke, whereas, Donald Trump IS a joke.
