“Who Shot Ya?”
Living Colour
2016 — Summer Of The Gun
Shade (2017)
((( preceding message )))

2016  Responding to a dramatic year, filled with guns and violence (by all “sides” against all “sides”) Living Colour released “Who Shot Ya?,” their cover of Biggie Smalls’ (The Notorious B.I.G.) prophetic, Brooklyn, ghetto anthem early, before its schedule to be a part of the band’s next album, Shade. Just in time to be available, just before its “Freedom Sounds” performance in Washington D.C., celebrating the opening of the Smithsonian Institute’s on an EP (mixtape) in response to the dramatic (caught on video) increase in gun violence in America leading up to the Summer.
