On Christmas Eve 1968, the crew of Apollo 8 read from the book of Genesis, a message to the “good people back on planet Earth.” A message of hope, from the first human beings to see the Dark Side of The Moon, and surprisingly more dramatic, to see Earth as a vivid, bright blue sphere, rising above the Moon’s colorless horizon, a shining light in the black.
