While on the Miami Herald Staff (1993), contributed as a photographer, editor,
and designer to the Herald’s Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of Hurricane Andrew.

I grew up on Florida’s Space Coast, where, as a teenager, I did my first work as a journalist.
These ten minutes, including the (2005) launch of the space shuttle Discovery, offer an everyday
